requires dedication and courage.

Our winery is a family business and that’s what it shall always be. The size of 16 ha of vineyards allows us to do all the essential tasks ourselves. We treat the vines with utmost care, which results in high quality grapes.

Our varieties:

Reds:  Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Pinot Noir, Roesler, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah

Whites: Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Scheurebe, Weißburgunder, Sauvignon Blanc, Grüner Veltliner, Gelber Muskateller

In the cellar, however, we want to develop further and to link traditional viticulture with modern vinification techniques. Thus we produce harmonious wines with a unique character.

We are
part of it.

DAC stands for “Districtus Austriae Controllatus” and is the legal seal for particularly area-typical quality wines. The basic idea of this denomination of origin is to combine the taste of the wine with the landscape from which it comes, and to vinify a wine that expresses the uniqueness of the territory.

manual work is all that matters.

We respect nature and treat it with care. Not only the pruning and tending of the vines but also the grape harvest are handwork. Thus the first quality control takes place in the vineyards and only the best grapes make it into the cellar.

Our vineyards can be found around Mönchhof, the door to the so-called ‚Seewinkel‘. It is Austria’s warmest wine region with a rather varied terroir. We cultivate red grapes on the slopes of the Parndorfer Platte whereas the white grapes ripen in the southerly-lying vineyards.

into the bottle.

    harmony rules.

It takes patience and intuition for making good wine. Thanks to the mild climate and the long vegetation period our grapes integrate the minerals of the soil particularly well. In addition they are rich in aromatic substances and fruit flavours. It is the vintner’s task to develop this potential further.

Why don’t you drop in and taste our crisp, fruity whites and our full-bodied reds in the cosy atmosphere of our tasting room?

Knowhow, experience and patience are the vintner’s tools. Moreover, innovative ideas are the key to success. Like the wine, which slowly develops and matures in our oak casks or stainless steel tanks, we strive to further develop our methods and techniques in order to create harmonious wines of a distinct character.

    Weine, wie sonst keine.
